Delete your account
Account deletion for Your Money Plan (com.humancopilot.yourmoneyplan) is done inside the app. It is self-service, takes effect immediately and cannot be undone.
Delete it from inside the app
Mobile app (Android / iOS)
Open the app, go to Settings → Delete account, type DELETE and confirm with your password.
Web app
Sign in at yourmoneyplan.app, go to Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account and confirm.
You must be signed in to delete an account, and we ask you to re-enter your password so nobody else can delete it for you.
No longer have the app installed?
Email hello@yourmoneyplan.app from your registered email address with the subject "Data Deletion Request". We confirm within 72 hours and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your sign-in account (email, phone number and linked providers)
- Expenses, income, categories, budgets, accounts and goals
- Receipts, statements and any uploaded images
- Nexus conversations, coaching memory and voice session state
- Household links, streaks, levels and app preferences
What we keep, and for how long
- Personal data is removed from live systems as soon as the deletion completes.
- Encrypted backups purge deleted data within 90 days.
- Legal and compliance records we are required to keep (such as transaction logs for tax and anti-fraud rules) are retained in anonymized form for up to 7 years.
